Vice-president: Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi (GPC)
Dr Abd al-Karim al-Iryani was temporarily appointed
prime minister on 29 April 1998 following the resignation of Dr Farraj bin Ghanim. Two
weeks later Dr Iryani was asked to form a government and the new cabinet was announced on
16 May 1998.
