Most of the original material at al-bab is published under a Creative Commons licence. This means you can reproduce it without asking permission, so long as you comply with the terms of the licence.
Where a Creative Commons licence applies, there is a notice to that effect at the end of the article (see the example below). If there is no Creative Commons notice, please ask before reproducing, because the rights of third parties may be involved.
